Boys & Girls Club of Broward County, Inc.
The Boys & Girls Club of Broward provides experiences & opportunities for every child that walks through their doors. Any funding that would come from the Bags for Change program would go to scholarships for the kids. For the last two years over 80% of their seniors enroll in college. Most of their members attend title I schools, qualify for free and reduced lunch and live in single parent households earning less than $20,000 annually.
The tragedy is that in spite of scholarships and other aid they still need financial assistance. The Boys & Girls Club is hoping to fill that gap, & send more deserving teens to college.

Supermoms of Broward
Supermoms of Broward is an opportunity for mothers of all diversities, backgrounds, and cultures to unify for their children’s happiness and community spirit. We provide a free resource to families living in Broward County with a robust calendar of events, community outings, resources and discounts!

The Cooperative Feeding Program, Inc. dba LifeNet4Families
LifeNet4Families is a seamless system of care for those in need in Broward County by providing necessary food, ancillary services and referrals. donations will be used to provide food and other basic resources to people in immediate crisis, as well as people who are struggling to make ends meet and facing the difficult choice of whether to provide food for themselves and their families, or pay other necessary bills (ex. medical/prescription, utility payments, rent/mortgage, etc.).

Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital
The Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital (SNC) supports the education of our youth with our many programs offered through our education department. reptiles. Our presentation is hands-on and educational where students learn about the ecosystem and animals and also how to co-exist. The program curriculum also encourages students to get out into nature. So many of our youth are attached to their electronics which leads to a sedentary lifestyle. We encourage active outdoor explorations and taking the time to look and listen to nature. If we are chosen as a Bags for Change recipient, we will use the award to present this program to students in Title I Elementary/Middle Schools.
