Nick was born in Nebraska and spent most of his childhood moving around a lot. He’s lived in North Carolina, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Germany. In 1997 his family moved to Colorado where he’s lived ever since. He received his bachelor’s in business administration and Management from the University of Northern Colorado.
So, what got him into the grocery game? Nick’s first job in high school was as a courtesy clerk. He left that job when he headed off for college but got rehired as a Second Assistant Manager three days after he received his degree. Nick has discovered that the grocery world provides new challenges and rewards on a daily basis. He enjoys having the ability to see and react to opportunities the grocery game has to offer and finds it to be a fulfilling career.
When not focused on work, Nick loves watching football and playing fantasy football. During the summer he enjoys working on his classic car and taking it to car shows when he can. In the winter he loves to ski. He and his wife Krystal have two children. Their son, Kai, is two years old and their daughter Arabelle, is one The family is rounded out by a fur-kid lab/husky mix named Charlie.
When asked “Why Lucky’s?” Nick responded with, “I wanted to join Lucky’s because of the culture. We celebrate individuals and I wanted to be a part of an organization that values its team. I started my career with Lucky’s on October 29, 2018. I had never been a part of a new store opening, so I was extremely excited to be a part of the opening of Fort Collins. I’m grateful for the new opportunities that Lucky’s has provided me and I’m eager to further my career with such a great company.”
