Brian grew up in Sanford, FL – about 15 miles north of Orlando. He started in the grocery business when he was 17 years old and he’s been captivated since. During his career, he’s been able to experience nearly every facet of the industry and has had opportunities presented to him that he never thought possible. Although his educational background is in Building Construction and Construction Management, it’s all things grocery that fulfill him in his work-life. He attributes his career path in the industry to be the reason it has “brought me to what I feel is the most challenging and rewarding part of my career path here at Lucky’s.”
When not working, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife of 25 years, Kelli, his son Shane, daughter Heather, and two dogs. He also enjoys relaxing at New Smyrna Beach, FL, cheering on the Orlando City Soccer team and the Miami Dolphins (although he noted here that, “yes, they make me cry too…”) Other hobbies include college football, the Gators and biking the Seminole Trail. Country music and 80’s rock and roll are his go to music genres of choice.
When we asked Brian, “Why Lucky’s?” he told us, “Each day I go to work, and it brings me back to when I first started in the biz. It’s the Huddles and the very diverse Team that I appreciate each and every day. We are celebrating great food at great prices. The culture is infectious! I am a lucky guy!”
