Fruit Waffles


2 cups all purpose flour

3/4 cup sugar

3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups milk

1 cup butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla

Optional: Fresh fruit, whipped cream, maple syrup


In a blender, mix eggs, milk, melted butter and vanilla together. Add flour, sugar and baking powder. Lightly brush or spray the waffle iron with vegetable oil before you start cooking the first waffle. You should not have to grease the iron again while cooking waffles. Scoop approximately 3/4 cup into the waffle iron. Cook for approximately 3-4 minutes, depending on your waffle iron. Serve with your favorite yumminess. We suggest trying whipped cream, fresh strawberries and peaches all drizzled with a bit of maple syrup.
