Grilled Romaine Lettuce with Blue Cheese and Bacon


3 heads Romaine lettuce, sliced in half lengthwise
6 strips Lucky’s Market bacon
1/3-1/2 cup blue cheese crumbled
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar glaze
Olive oil


Turn grill on medium high. Cut lettuce in half lengthwise. Brush lightly with olive oil. Place Romaine lettuce on grill flat side down. Cook for 4 minutes then flip to backside and cook another 4 minutes. While lettuce is on grill, place bacon in skillet and cook on medium heat on stove for approximately 6 -8 minutes. Turning halfway through. Remove and place on a plate lined with paper towel to absorb extra grease. When lettuce is ready to serve, crumble bacon and spread over lettuce. Sprinkle blue cheese crumbles over lettuce. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar glaze. If more dressing is desired, mix regular balsamic vinegar with olive oil.
