Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 white onion, diced
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 12 ounces cerveza
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 20 ounces Mexican cheese mix, grated
  • 8oz can fire roasted tomatoes, diced
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cholula
  • Mustard powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in sauce pan over medium heat. Stir in onion and cook until transluscent
  2. Whisk in flour and stir until mixed
  3. Add cream cheese, beer, and milk, stir continously
  4. Add roasted tomatoes, cholula, slat, pepper, and mustard powder (to taste)
  5. Serve with Made in-House tortilla chips
