Pan Seared Top Sirloin Steaks


4 – top sirloin steaks (5 oz)

1 tsp – kosher salt

1/4 tsp – freshly ground black pepper

1 1/2 tbsp – olive oil

2 tsp – Cajun seasoning


Allow steaks to reach room temperature.

Season steaks with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning, then drizzle with olive oil.

Place a sauté pan large enough to accommodate all steaks over med-high heat.

Add steaks and lower heat to medium. Cook until well browned on one side, about 5-6 minutes.

Turn steaks over and cook 3-4 minutes more, or to desired doneness.
