- 2 cups milk or milk alternative (We love coconut milk in this recipe)
- 1 3-ounce disk of Taza chocolate mexicano
- 1 Mexican cinnamon stick
- 1 dried chile pepper
- Mix milk, the whole chile and cinnamon stick in a saucepan over medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Mince the chocolate disk and add to the milk mixture, whisking it in.
- Continuing stirring over medium heat for about 5 more minutes, or until chocolate has melted.
