Tilapia Fish Lettuce Wraps


Tilapia Lettuce Wraps

1 head green leaf lettuce

1/2 – 1 white onion diced

2 cloves garlic minced

1 pound tilapia

1 packet Simply Organic Fish Taco seasoning

1/4 cup water

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 lime


3 avocados peeled and pit removed

1/2 white onion diced

2 cloves garlic minced

1/2 teaspoon salt to taste

Black Bean and Mango Salad

1 cup black beans rinsed

1 mango peeled and diced

4 green onions chopped

2 cloves garlic minced

1 orange pepper chopped

1/4 cup cilantro chopped

Salad Dressing

1 lime juiced

1 teaspoon honey

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil



Tilapia Lettuce Wraps

Per taco seasoning instructions, mix seasoning with ¼ cup warm water. Cut tilapia into strips and drizzle with olive oil. Place fish in a large ziplock plastic bag. Add marinade and coat fish. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add drizzle of olive oil. Add tilapia. Cook just a few minutes on each side until fish is opaque white and flakey. Drizzle fish with lime juice. Place washed whole green lettuce leaves on plate and add fish and bean and mango salad to make mini tacos. Serve with Lucky’s Market Fresh salsa, homemade guacamole and Late July Cassico Tortilla Chips.


Peel and remove pits from avocados. Mash until smooth. Add garlic, onion and salt and continue to mash until smooth.

Black Bean and Mango Salad

Add all of the ingredients together in a bowl. Add to tilapia and lettuce leaf wraps. Drizzle with salad dressing or let the fresh flavors standout on their own.
