Lucky’s Market Announces Closing of Lexington, KY Store

Company continues to operate Louisville, KY store and has up to 20 signed leases for new stores across the country

 

 

Boulder, Colo. (April 30, 2018) – Lucky’s Market has announced it will be closing its store at 1030 South Broadway in Lexington. The planned closing date is May 26, 2018. Lexington shoppers can use rewards points or gift cards prior to closing, or at Lucky’s Market in Louisville. Products in the Lexington store will be significantly discounted prior to the store closing – starting at 25 percent off all items beginning May 2. Beer, wine and spirits in the store will also be sold at a 20 percent discount starting on May 2 (while supplies last). From May 6 until the scheduled closing date of May 26, Lucky’s Market Lexington store hours will be shortened and the store will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

 

Lucky’s Market in Louisville at 200 N. Hurstbourne Parkway will remain open and store shelves will be stocked with local favorite seasonal and specialty foods; all at affordable prices. The company is always looking for additional sites and currently has signed leases for more than 20 new stores spanning from Montana to Florida to help bring more good food at great prices to the masses.

 

Lucky’s Market is committed to taking care of its employees and helping them with new job placement and transition plans. The company is bringing in professional help to provide outplacement services, and representatives from the company’s Employee Assistance Program will also be on-site to offer various resources to employees.
